GAZE Volunteer Call Out 2025

Our volunteers are the beating heart of GAZE. Year after year, they make this festival the warm and welcoming space it is.
Volunteering at GAZE is a fantastic way to meet new people, to see the very best of queer cinema and support
the incredible LGBTQIA+ audiences and allies that have been showing up to our screenings for over 30 years. It is
a chance for those involved to become a part of a community that goes far beyond the dates of the festival into the
social and professional circles of The Arts & LGBTQIA Scene. And you'll be front and centre for the fabulously fun
cinematic celebrations GAZE brings to Dublin each year!
Friends, mothers, students, artists, film-lovers, mentors, knitters, readers, Dublin long-timers and people who are new to the city -
our diverse team of volunteers, spanning all ages, occupations, identities, and backgrounds, are what make GAZE so special. Their passion
can be felt everywhere from the lobbies warmly welcoming the patrons to assisting with essential back-of-house, marketing, and production
duties, and even liaising with our esteemed festival guests.
Our festival and volunteer programme are a stepping stone for you to meet like-minded peers who you can share your experiences,
knowledge and questions with. A family that GAZE together, stays together!
